365 Days of Doing Something

It wouldn’t be a new year without a new creative project. And I’m honestly really, really stoked about this one.

I was perusing Instagram reels a few nights back, and I stumbled across an account (aka tiny_ghosts) where Kat, the creator, decided to do a 30-day challenge she dubbed “Just F*cking Doing Something.”

I loved this idea so much that I wanted to expand upon it. I’ve fallen into an awful habit of waiting until the weekend to do the things I enjoy…and I hate it.

Instead, I want to start doing all of my favorite things (which includes trying new things) every single day, which brings us to this year’s challenge:

365 Days of Doing Something

For the entire year, I’m going to push myself to do something every single day. This can range from something as small as taking a walk through my neighborhood or sketching to venturing out into the city to try something new by myself or with friends.

I want to break the cycle I’ve found myself in. I want to bring B Movies back. I want to get out of the house more. I just want to do something.

To hold myself accountable, I’m going to post on Instagram daily and share everything I do with all of you. (October’s gonna be a LOT, so my apologies in advance).

The first “thing” in the challenge is, well, this very blog post. I’ve been neglecting the writing in my personal life, and what better way to kick off a challenge meant to renew my passions than with a blog post?

So, dear readers, I hope you’ll join me on this journey.

Because I think it’s gonna be a good one.
