I’m going to come out swinging in this one—I think Run Sweetheart Run is one of Blumhouse’s kbest. But unfortunately, I also think it’s one of Blumhouse’s best kept secrets, making it an underrated gem. 

For those not in the know, Run Sweetheart Run follows Cherie (Ella Balinska) as she fights like hell for her life against her boss’s alleged client, Ethan (Pilou Asbæk). It’s badass, feminist, and really unique. 

Now, I included CWs and TWs up top, and please take those seriously because there is some content in here that could be really triggering. 

But, if you don’t find those topics triggering, I can’t recommend this movie enough. 

To give you an idea of the vibes of Run Sweetheart Run, I’ve picked five other movies that I think would compliment this flick nicely and give you an idea of what you’re in for. 

However, I would say that all of CWs/TWs could carry over to these movies as well, so I recommend looking up these movies before watching them.
