Anytime I watch a movie with Karen Black, I’m enamored by her performance. She stands out amongst any cast, including movies like Trilogy of Terror, where she plays multiple characters.
She brings this level of high camp without chewing the scenery, and I’ve never really seen another actor perform the way she does within the horror genre.
However, her performances outside of horror are just as delightful.
From House of 1000 Corpses to Auntie Lee’s Meat Pies and more, Karen Black steals not only her scenes but more often than not, the entire show.
