Nobody puts baillee in the corner

I am fortunate enough to have a lot of badass women in my life. Some are family. Some are friends. Some are Trans. Some are Queer. Some are straight. Some are Lesbians or Bisexual or Asexual or Intersexual or indetify as another part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Some are Black. Some are Hispanic. Some are White. Some are Asian.

Some are conservative. Some are liberal. Some are Christian. Some are Catholic. Some are Wiccan. Some are Muslim.

Some are single. Some are engaged. Some are married. 

Some are Sex Workers. Some are Cashiers. Some are CEOs.

Some are disabled. Some are fat. Some are thin. Some fall between. Some are old. Some are young. Some fall between. 

Some are mentally ill. Some are healthy. Some work out everyday. Some eat Taco Bell everyday.

Some don’t define themselves by any labels.

My point is, they are all women. They are all to be loved and supported and treated equally. They are beautiful and talented and cherished. They have helped me through the hardest times. They have been my rocks. They have lifted me when I have fallen so far, I can no longer see a way out. 

They are the future. They are leaders. They are revolutionaries. They are tough. They are strong. They are hardworking. They are passionate. 

They are not to be messed with. They are not to be taunted. They are not to be harassed. They are not to be pushed. They are not to be groped (unless it is consensual). They are not to be bullied. They are not to be patronized. 

They are my foundation. They are my role models. They are my heart. 

Don’t forget that ever but especially today. 

Women raised you. Women helped you. Women loved you. Women shaped the world around you. 

Don’t let it slip your mind. We are equals. Fight with us for our rights, and don’t forget those who lost everything trying. 

The future is female, and you can’t escape fate.
