Who was your first crush?

My first crush was on my childhood friend. Ben and I lived a few houses apart, I had the pool, he had all the video games. We were young, maybe 8-10, and hung out every day. He moved away and then joined the military, so I haven’t heard from him in years, but I still think about him, and think about how much fun we had as kids.

Who was your first kiss?

My first kiss was with my first boyfriend, Dave. We were 16 and only dated for a short while.

What are your views on Tinder and other dating apps?

Great if you have time to use them, but terrible for the average working woman, who doesn’t have time to weed out all the idiots just looking for sex.

What was the best date you ever had?

Honestly, despite having been in a relationship, I’ve never gone on a date.

What goes through your head when you first realize you have feelings for someone?

Usually it’s something like “Well, shit. Should I say something? No… But, wait, what if I never see him again.” I really wish we could go back to the guy actually growing balls and making the first move, but I’m old fashion like that.

What is the first trait that attracts you to someone?

A good sense of humor, well timed sarcasm, and a smile that cold light up a room.

How would you describe heart break?

It’s like watching everything you’ve ever enjoyed in life shagger and turn to dust in your fingers.

What is your break up routine?

I’ve really ever gone through one terrible breakup, and I turned to reading, friend, and fandom.

Have you ever been in love?

Yes. Do you think it’s possible to love two people at the same time? There are different types of love. I personally do not think you can romantically love more than one person at the same time.

What does love mean to you?

Love means having someone to share the good and the bad with, to cuddle up on rainy days and sit with your legs entwined watching something you both enjoy. It means having your best friend by your side.

What advice do you have for someone who has never been in love?

Don’t force it. Force it and you’ll regret it.
